Akron, OH (October 21, 2009) – Harwick Standard Distribution Corporation is pleased to announce that Kurt Nygaard will rejoin Harwick Standard as Vice President of Sales effective November 1, 2009. He was most recently Rubber Industry Manager for the M.F. Cachat Company. Prior to M.F. Cachat, Nygaard had spent almost 17 years with Harwick Chemical Corporation & Harwick Standard Distribution Corporation in a variety of positions. Nygaard began his career in the rubber industry in 1977 with B.F. Goodrich Chemical. He is a graduate of Mount Union College with postgraduate work at The College of William & Mary.

Kurt is a member of the American Chemical Society Rubber Division, the Southern Rubber Group, and the Ohio Rubber Group.
